"I'm a downtown resident, a life-long Democrat, and I'm endorsing Emma for Mayor. In fact, Emma was the first non-Democrat (aside from Bernie) I've ever voted for. She was my City Councilor when I lived in the Old North End, and her service as my Councilor is why I'm proud to vote for her again. As my councilor she was so prompt, thoughtful, and well-informed in her responses, I never forgot it. I don't care as much about Party labels as I do about the kind of leadership this city needs right now. I'm voting for Emma for the leadership we need."
